Assistant General Manager – Shenzhen

Wanted an Entrepreneurial Senior Management Professional from the Events and Exhibition industry.

My client, an international events & exhibitions agency is looking for a top notch Assistant General Manager – based in Shenzhen China.

You will be the person to set up and build a new team in Shenzhen for events and exhibition contracting.  As the leader of this team you will be the one in-charge and responsible for business development, operations, growing a team and the team’s P&L.

You will have access to all resources and support from the Shanghai office and will report directly to the GM based in Shanghai.

Requirements:

  • – Over 10 years experience in event and exhibitions industry with 3 years in a management role
  • – Proven track record in business development
  • – Hands on experience in building and growing team from scratch
  • – Strong knowledge in operations and management
  • – Proven ability with P&L responsibility
  • – Fluent in English
  • – MUST HAVE Chinese language skills, both reading and writing in Cantonese and Mandarin
